A message from our founder, Dr. Archana Naithani
Empowering women is a way to empower our natural resources on which every aspect of life depends. Time is now to act.
Women sustain the traditional wisdom of conserving the environment because they play important roles as land managers and natural resources managers.
Climate change is real. Women in many parts of the world, especially in indigenous communities, are the first to experience this devastating impact.
Dr. Archana Naithani
Founder & Chairwoman, Ecoensa Private Limited
Dr. Archana Naithani founded Ecoensa Private Limited and leads its work at the meeting point of conservation and community.
She led Ecoensa’s “Bring Back Chiriyas in Our Neighbourhood” initiative, personally distributing handmade nests across neighbourhoods in Noida, and guides the organisation’s work with women artisans — whose handcrafted pieces Ecoensa carried to the Women in Nature Network 2025 gathering in Mexico.
